I play everyday
I have been going to Harrahs in KC for over a year and go everyday sometimes twice , I always play VP mainly dueces wild its starts at 800 and goes up as people play. I havent hit a royal flush for over 8 or 9 months, Does anyone think that they can tighten up the machine when a certain person sits down? I quit playing with my card in a long time ago, I know im missing out but either way i cant win , I dont know if im cursed or just have bad luck, people have sat next to me and within minutes hit a royal and i have been playing for hours, its almost like someone is throwing it in my face or something as it happens a few times a month, Im going to stop going i know thats easier said than done but they are breaking me, one time i locked my keys in the car and they said they could call a locksmith but i told them i lost my money in hope they might help me out and pay for it but hell no , my truck sat there 3 days, then one time i slipped on their escalator and hurt my knee pretty good did i hold them liable? no of course not im the one who slipped, then a couple days later i was getting cash and went to the cage gave them my id and a few minutes later they escorted me in back and told me i wasnt supposed to be there? in missouri i was on the dap list and then they let you get off if you met the requirements and that was years ago and i told them the deal they didnt care so i went home got the email for the CEO of ceasers ent. and emailed him and to;d him the story then 3 days later i had a letter in the mail saying that there was an issue with the computer and that i could come back, then fast forward to the beginning of this post and thats where im at now

Too many land mines in this post to comment on. The casino can not tighten or loosen the machines depending upon who plays them, what time of day it is or anything else external to the machine itself. You are not "owed" a royal flush today, tomorrow, next week, in 40,000 hands or forever. You should consider taking some time off from video poker. Video poker is very addicting.Bassplayer63 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 12:38 amI havent hit a royal flush for over 8 or 9 months, Does anyone think that they can tighten up the machine when a certain person sits down? I actually was also going to mention fishing but I figured you'd get around to it sooner or later...

Put your poles in the truck Ted.
If this post was real (which I doubt), it wasn't funny. It happens when you tell people how to beat a casino. As stupid as that sounds, some people actually believe it.

Which behavior is worse?
Playing a negative game thinking you can beat it, or playing it knowing you can't?

I don't know. Are they any better than playing a positive game thinking you can beat it? The only people who win long term in a casino are the owners and those who sell dreams of beating the casino. Which one are you?
The best way to beat the casino is to not go in.

FP is absolutely wrong on this. There are a number of successful players. (To be sure, he's not one of them.) It's posts like this that should remove his right to post in the strategy section. He should be relegated over to the recreational section where his misinformation does less harmFloridaPhil wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2019 12:27 pm
