Random Reward Poker
I saw this one the other day. What is the payback percentage, and what is the strategy?
Are the random credits 5-2000 following uniform distribution or normal distribution or others. No info is available about the randomness of the bonus credits.

The payback isn't well known. Given how IGT functions, I'd guess it's about 0.3% more than 5 credits bet when played optimally. Problem is optimal strategy changes on every deal.

Random Rewards, LOL.
IMO, one of the coolest VP games ever. But, it wasn't popular. Yet, it lives on as one of the game choices on the 5 Star Machines.
You can look at the 5 coin payout for flushes and full-houses to get a baseline payback. I saw one today for Bonus Poker that was 25 for flushes and 35 for full-houses. That would be 98.01%. There probably is a tenth/few tenths extra payback for playing the sixth coin.
Strategy can get real screwy.
