Mohegan Sun lock in status achieved, but?

I had 4 days this week to earn Soar Status for another 6 months It required I earn 100 status points during that time period. The bottom line is it wasn’t cheap and I’m not sure it is worth it anymore. I didn’ hit any jackpots and it cost me 3700 bucks. The alternative would have been to earn 4000 status points in a 6 month period. Since you hace to cycle through about 500 bucks for one status point, that would have required 2m through the machines in a 6 month period. The closest I came to a jackpot was 5 2’s on joker kings with 18 quqrters bet and playing Martingale clone. The reason I am saying I don’t think it will be worth it anymore is I have noticed that come mid July, my comp room offers are gone. I normaly cycle through 2m in a year. I doubt there is a casino in the country that would not offer comp rooms for cycling that kind of coin through the machines. Calls to hosts customer service, and player development have fallen on deaf ears so it looks like once I have used up my reservations I have and other free stuff, Foxwoods here I come. There will be as of now no problem getting conp rooms there. I actually earned 120 status points at a cost of 60k coin in. The 3700 loss translates to a 6 percent loss of the 60k coin in. Not surprising since no jackpots were hit. I played only 98.5 to 99.5 games. About 20,000 hands were played

Would they comp your rooms if you played 97% games? Might be worth it? I'll bet if you played slots as much as VP, they would give you all the rooms you can use. Comps or odds, that's the choice. My home casino makes truck loads of money. They make the decision for you by offering lousy games and good comps. The idea that you can play only positive games while earning great comps in a casino today is Fantasy Land. I saw through that years ago. Anyone with any business sense could too.

The above shows how rough sessions without jackpots can be on bankroll. I believe Royalless and quad less sessions in job leave. the house with profits in the 25 percent range. That is probably a stretch, but that is what it feels like anyway
