VP.com Trip 2008(Unofficial)
In my other thread on about my upcoming trip to Atlantic City MikeA opined how nice it might be if members of VP.com could get together.
Given that we are scattered all over the U.S, Webman had a thought of such a thing(Meeting) taking place in Vegas at the time that the G2E Gaming Expo is held. The dates are November 18-20, 2008. That would give us almost a year to kick ideas around about such a meet.
Please chime in with thoughts and suggestions.

I have trouble thinking about next week, let along something 11 months away. However, I've added it to my calendar. It is not unusual for us to take a November or December trip to LV.

It's such a long trip for me, but I think I can fit it in.

Can the Webman and videopoker.com accommodate all the passes that could be requested for G2E Expo?

I'm not sure how many passes each vendor is allowed each year or how the process works. We were able to accomodate this year because there were very few requests, but I can't make any promises or even speculation on that at this time. If you all get together, the actual expo isn't the best location to do so any way because of the crowds and environment (although seeing the up and coming machines and goings-on is always exciting). Naturally, we will see what we can do as the date approaches.
I suggested the event mainly as a target date for you all to center around, since no time will work for absolutely everyone and Vegas makes sense as the meeting point. Plus, since it is likely we will have a high VideoPoker.com team turnout for the conference, there's no telling who might drop by.
The planning is up to you guys if anyone wants to take the lead, as this is entirely informal... turning it into a good time shouldn't be too hard in Vegas and I'm sure everyone will have their own plans in addition to getting together. I know I would be interested in meeting more of you if it works out.
It's a long ways out for everyone, but some people might need that time to make travel plans so I think having a date in mind is helpful. By all means discuss other options if you so desire. It doesn't hurt to start shopping around for rates as I know it tends to be a busy week down there, especially around the convention center.
One disclaimer, however... most of you are well-informed video poker players and you will be practicing heavily over the next year. If a casino throws you all out in fear of bankruptcy, VideoPoker.com assumes no liability.

Oh, yeah, I'm sure the casinos will tremble in fear.
Maybe if we all play at the same place they'll have to shut it down, and we'll make the news. You'll have to make sure we've all got VP.com caps and shirts so that you'll get some free advertising when CNN shows us dancing in the street.
