I always play 25  do you think the pay offs are betterin the higher? The payoffs are always proportionally the same regardless of denomination assuming that the paytables are equal.  What I mean is, if you are playing 9/6 JOB, no matter what your denomination (quarter or $5) you will be paid 125 credits for a Quad.  You will win 125 quarters or 125 $5-bills.  Proportionally, they are equal to the amounts wagered. If you are asking if higher denomination machines deal out more jackpot hands, well, if they do and the Gaming Commission finds out about it, there will be casinos in a lot of trouble! To carry that a bit further, you might find that with some games, you will find more full-pay machines at lower denominations.  I think that might stem from the casino's paranoia about being hit by professionals.  I guess they think that they can afford a few pros taking them on full pay quarter machines than on $5 machines.  But that is just a speculation of mine.

MikeA is right about Video Poker however due to the topic you posted "Poker Slots" I am unsure if you are talking about Slot Machines returning more on Higher Denominations? If you are than the answer is a qualified yes. Typically $1 Slots return more than .25 and so on.

9-5-2007 there was at least one $5 9/6 Job at the Golden Nugget in the alcove  of the high roller area.  Don't remember where I saw a JoB that was full pay only in higher denominations  but the same machine was not full pay for lesser.   Downtown at the 4 Queens, Fremont, Fitz and possibly Main St. Station has  plenty of full pay.  Bob Dancer will begin classes at the Cortez soon and most likely will have plenty of good machines.  Twice I've played a multi-game machine which pay table changed for no reason that I could discern though I did not change games or denomnations.  Most peculiar.   So good luck, clivesmom with your gaming.  Your best bet is to read all the videopokerforum  for the latest and best tips.
