I honestly can't think of a single thing Sheldon has done to improve Las Vegas. He won't be missed.

After his death, there were a number of obituaries that talked about things he had done that he had requested not to be publicized. I would like to amend my statement. I still think he was bad for gamblers and gaming but he evidently had charitable side that did a lot of good for the city we both love.

Very true Mr Adelson did contribute a lot to various charity initiatives around the world and in Vegas itself. He was also a staunch supporter of the nation Of Israel.

Well 2 months after Adelson's passing, Las Vegas Sands is selling the Venetian, Palazzo, etc. https://nypost.com/2021/03/03/las-vegas ... for-6-25b/
