Flush or 2 of a kind?
Whenever I play at the casino and get dealt 4 cards to a flush and also have 2 of a kind, Let's say 2C, 6C, 10C, KC, 2D, I always go for the flush but the machine "suggests" I should go with the 2 of a kind. Is that in fact mathematically the better play?

You need to specify what game and the pay table.

Sara, If the game you are referring to is 9/6 Jacks or better, 8/5 or or 8/5 Bonus Poker then 4 cards to a flush is preferable to holding 2 low cards. Might be different on some of the other games.

I cannot think of a game where holding the deuces, other than Deuces Wild.
With other cards, sometimes holding the pair is correct. Those times are:
1. When the pair is A, K, Q, or J in a game based on jacks or better
2. In a Deuces Wild game where flushes pay 2-for-1.
I suspect one of those cases is involved here, and your actual example was incorrect.

the one enjoy the most.
but reality anything can happen on the short term played 3x longer on a 96% game same bankroll than on a 99.54% game, funny how anything can happen in the short run but long run thats no longer true house wins the long run

Example from tonight. Ignore the results, but before the cards were dealt, I had a 95.7458% advantage on this one.
