When casinos run dumb promos......
A two casino chain in Vegas ran a double jackpot promotion last week but made an obvious mistake on what payouts would be eligible.
It started at midnite and one of them called it off after two hours while the other made it a little longer.
Rumors are they lost $250,000 in that time, with several of my friends taking a good chunk of it. They are no longer welcome to play there anymore. Boo Hoo.
I miss Vegas.

I just came upon a Longhorn Casino promotion:
Double Voucher for the Top Prize
All day each Thursday in March.
If you achieve any top prize in slots, a royal flush, or at least $500 or more in keno, we will double the top prize up to $1000 in free play. The top prize has to be verified on the screen by a team member. *Royal flush has to be at the maximum bet.
Great idea. Who the hell's thinking casino on Thursday?

Yeah keno sounds real exploitable if 3 of 3 is considered a "top prize".

I stumbled into a situation like that. After a wrestling match, a group of us stopped by a local pub to find they were having a promo where if you won $50 or more in a hand, you got a wheel spin that paid $10-$100. It took about two minutes to decide betting X on two numbers of Caveman Keno would pay $50 and give a wheel spin. They pulled the promotion a few hours later.

Yeah it is all dependent on the max bet. Dunno about that one.

I don't know jack about keno (blessing in disguise). But a Thursday VP session would surely be enlivened if the big ship came in!

Dumbest promo was the Revel's guarantee of giving players their 100k back in free play if they lost that much. they pulled it pronto.
