No spendable points earned at Mohegan Sun for all 99 percent games and many 98 percent games. They love slot players because you have no idea how much they are keeping.

B Bar is always crowded, I’m strictly a mid week visitor, don’t like the weekend crazies. That being said I’ll actually be there this Saturday to see A Bronx Tale at Ocean.JIMDUECE`SWILD wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 9:35 amHow was the crowd? Was there a lot of people there?jetermacaw wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 6:48 amAt the B Bar yesterday watched a gentleman hit for $20,000. $5, TDB, aces with kicker.
I was down over the weekend. It was not crowded for a Saturday or a Sunday. Not like when Boyd gamming was running the show.
Is it MGM cutbacks or the economy.
I think since they tightened up the Card matching game ( which was mainly used to gain access to Amphora ), it seems a little lighter.

B Bar is always a zoo. I always regretted going once I saw how impossible it is to actually play. And God forbid you want to switch machines. Nothing available. Either ride it out or leave. Tx for nothing.

What exactly is the Card Matching Game?
Again, I really appreciate these observations and sharing of information and experiences here, it helps all of us who have not recently been to places like Borgota, but who are considering it, make reasonable decisions. I was greatly turned off of visiting Borgota when I heard about the experience in another thread of having to wait for an incredibly long unacceptable time to receive a simple 2,000 dollar handpay, and during which they required the player's "occupation". I still don't get that at all and want to know if that's the new normal or if they were just messing with that particular player.
Mr Jimdeuce and Jetermacaw are experts on Atlantic City so their opinions weight heavily.
Borgota has always had the reputation of being Atlantic City's best property overall. But the standards seems to be getting lower each month

The card matching game is where you bring your players card to another casino and they match you up to that level. You have to be Gold or above to gain access to Amphora, Borgata use to let you level for a year, now only three months. Most would level up, play minimum to gain access to Amphora, then run back to their own base casino.Karl_EDT wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 6:49 amjetermacaw wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 2:39 pmI think since they tightened up the Card matching game ( which was mainly used to gain access to Amphora ), it seems a little lighter.

Years ago Boyd Gamming was running the place. Now MGM is running the place.Karl_EDT wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 6:49 amjetermacaw wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 2:39 pmI think since they tightened up the Card matching game ( which was mainly used to gain access to Amphora ), it seems a little lighter.
