Pro Learning not showing the hard hands.

Post by JaCkPoT_ »

Hello

For years I've used the Video Poker for Winners downloadable client for Windows.

But since this was "killed" some years ago, I played a bit online at this page after that.

Now I have newly returned after a long time off, and I don't really get this.

When I played in the downloadable client, I got TONS of hard decisions hands when I chose "Difficult Hands" etc. When I play now, it really feels like I just get random hands, and I can't see any difference between Easy/Moderate/Difficult.

I'm playing Classic Single Hand (Game King) Double Double Bonus 9/5.

Can you guys have a look at this, there must be something wrong?

Just tried it and definitely got difficult hands. When setting up the Pro Training game session, be sure to select "Difficult hands only" under hand settings before hitting "Play now."

It should then say "Difficult hands" below the game while you are playing.

Okay, I recorded a few hands now on Difficult: https://youtu.be/Q74e4i-c--Y

I would be glad if someone could have a look, as I can't understand that this is the hard level? (even though it's selected as you can see)

Nope. Something wrong there for sure. Looks like 9/5 DDB. I'm looking into it.

I tried here and it's working fine, and also simulated playing on your account and it also worked. In difficult mode, you should only be seeing hands where the top 2 holds are very close together (say around .01 EV).

So... something weird is going on and preventing your game from being configured properly to only run difficult hands.

You are using Google Chrome, correct?

Okay, yes great then we agree, as I could not understand this would be correct.

I'm using Google Chrome (latest version) on a Windows computer.

I just tried a short session on my iPhone in Safari now, and I have the same issue there, with "random" hands showing in Difficult (and the other training modes)

Made some changes here, please try again. We haven't fully pinned down what is causing this for you, but it's possible these changes will fix it. If not, we will look further.
