Four Winds, New Buffalo.

Post by pokerpokerpoker »

A few months ago, Four Winds sent me 2 nice FP/comp offers. I don't know why - I hadn't played there in over a decade. Anyhow, the first one I collected and left without playing. The second one I decided to play their 5 Star machines in the HL room. Those machines have 2 of my favorite which are no longer offered at the nearby casinos: Random Rewards and Quick Quads. And...I got wrecked. Badly.

All that play must have triggered the system because a month later the offers started flowing in: nice FP, food, rooms, spa, etc.

I collected and ran a few times, then decided to play. Hitting the $2000+ flush on RR has always been on my VP bucket list, along with a BPDLX royal and a royal in clubs. I nearly busted my $800 buy-in when:

Right hand, right machine, wrong game. Ain't that right, TripleTriple?

After getting paid, I switched to Quick Quads. I couldn't believe it.

2 royals only 14 minutes apart (most of that time waiting for attendant) and 2 from my bucket list.

Ditto!!! The closest I ever had 2 Royals together was about 6 hours in Aruba about 20 years ago on nickels. Fantastic hits.

Astounding. If your buy in was anything <$800, it’s just another beleaguered bitter bust trip home. You managed to ante up the machine’s sweet spot with perfect calibration. Emboldened, you pursued even more riches.

I think the upshot is that if you do achieve the blessed event, stay on machine another ten or fifteen minutes.

So then why do you continually preach the exact opposite?
