Triple Double

Post by treeson »

For years I was hoping for a $1 denomination machine that paid nothing higher than $1000, even for royals, so there would be no w2s.

But then I realized, this is what 25c triple double is.

That will be true of any quarter game (single line) that is a bet 5. But that is a $.25 denomination game, not a $1 denomination game.

So... you were just wanting to play quarters? :)

Well what I mean is that the variance is so massive on TDB it basically plays like $1 JoB or similar $1 low variance game. Requires a similar bankroll. I should have been more specific. I really like TDB after playing jacks and bonus most of my life

Yes, TDB is a wild ride. I'm a wuss and stick mainly to deuces. Quarters, for the same reason you mentioned.

Not quite Eduardo. I only play single line DDB but got a w2-G last year when I hit the progressive royal that was over $1200. I now try to avoid machines that have the progressive rf in W2-G territory.

i am dissapointed that the 99.8% machines dont include TDB. Its hard to find 9/7 TDB anywhere.

The last holdout for 9/7 TDB any where near me (Detroit area), was one machine at Toledo at the $5 denom. These were changed and downgraded a few years ago.

I have not been to the South Point lately, but, as of my most recent visit, they did offer 9/7 TDB. According to vpFREE2, they still have it.

W2gs are not that big of a deal. If you collect your end of year statements from the casino, you probably won't make a profit anyway
