Back then?

Post by felix »

I used to be a regular at this site and I would post some on this forum. I had a different user name back then. Mostly I just checked the forum every couple of days. Back then there were always "Video Poker Stories" from the various posters. Stories and photos of nice wins almost every day. I always enjoyed reading about them and seeing the actual photos.
I have checked in some recently and I don't see hardly any stories of nice wins any more. Very rare. This coincides with the VP players at casinos becoming older and older, and less and less frequent. This game will be gone from casinos in another 5 or 10 years, so enjoy it while you can.

Maybe you have some nice stories to share?

Be sure to keep track of the Bizarro World thread, it's a good one.

I wouldn’t mind the powers that be pulling the plug. Given past performance, it would save me thousands a year. Love hate relationship at best.

Why don't, or can't, you stop on your own? Why would you need "the powers that be"?

Three months VP sober. I think quarterly is much more prudent.

3 months? You made a trip report on Sept. 2, 2024. Congrats on your sobriety just the same.

OP alleged that vp will disappear within a decade, but the bridge too far for you was FAA rounding up from 2.5 months to 3. Okay.

What are you going to do for a new side hustle after the extinction? I just hope it doesn't happen while I'm playing. I already had the sad experience of wearing MC Hammer pants to school on the day they went out of style.

@dinghy Yes, with my VP luck the entire game will expire while I am playing and up $20.

I will find something, if necessary, to fiill any gaps. Does this mean that FAA will not be jumping into a large body of water by then???

VP puts me consistently under water regardless. Year in, year out. Death, taxes and a losing VP year. The sensible thing would be to halve the BR and limit dollar play.
