Harrah's AC Holiday
As posted in another forum, I tripped down to AC on Boxing day to avenge the MIke Tyson beat down. A 5X TC multiplier week was enough of a reason with the very remote chance of achieving Seven Stars.
Check in was a fiasco, requiring a second trip to sort things out until we finally resided in 14th Atrium. Back on the floor, it was hard to penetrate the 5 Star VP loyalists- who we named "Whitey 1 and Whitey 2", "Tag team" and others, so I hung back for a while. I didn't realize they were doing me a favor until I got a driver's seat and proceeded down the flat line tilted predominately downward (y = -2x). It was early, so no need to be concerned, right? Play on. Play On! Dinner: AC Burger meal was fast, tasty and comped. More play afterwards with no rewards. Not many TC to multiply, about 1300, at the "discount" price of a buck apiece.
Next day, sleep in, junk breakfast from Tazza pit. Stroll to Borgata to check on card match (no dice) and scout Five Star machines. Also relocated bank of uprights with 99.69% SDDB, though I didn't play. Back at Harrah's, we make a sports bet and headed to Seven Star lounge. Got the surf & turf. Offered another helping and agreed. Several Heinekens and a Crown Royal later I sauntered out with renewed liquid courage. More delays in machines of choice, some substitution, lackluster results, though I did have a quad Kings hit on DDBAF for $400. On machines of choice- even more desultory. Obtain more bullets...
Fierce- FIERCE- fighting on the floor with ebb and flow but with the slow linear equation proving the mathematical truth. All the while, across the way, the magical handpay song, or at least the incessant drone of accumulating credits from a quad hit left to ring out to conclusion. A lady behind me hit a near 5k AWAK on a gimmick progressive just as I was striking out on another AWAK draw.
Later, another trip to AC Burgermeister to drain yet another $100 comp for reubens, fries and suds. When the English Second Language hostess asked how many, I replied "Three hungry people". She said Oh, that will be three day wait! Huh? Here she thought I said three HUNDRED people. I must comment that the service was excellent, very quick, correct and made to order with a smile and suggestions. Later, back on the floor, the wife nails the aforementioned Royal. Meanwhile, I make yet another run to the room safe for more ammunition.
A late turn in only meant a prolonged beating until I was scraping the bottom of the cash advance barrel (A short detour on the craps table for +110 notwithstanding). Managed over 2000 TC before the promo ended at midnight and over 2500 for the gaming day giving me the 5K daily bonus.
Morning! Go to Coastal Kitchen or whatever it's called and have eggs benedict crabmeat and salmon, bloody mary's- "yes, another-put some vodka in this time"- and some loaded cheesteaks to go , all courtesy of 2 x 100 celebration dinner comps.
In the Cove, I finally had a decent streak, taking the day's free play of $110 up to over $1500 and racking up another 700TC in about an hour. I was ready to burn the whole kaboodle in the quest for kicker, but the wife got impatient and I cashed out at a grand.
13 dealt straight
10 dealt flush
10 dealt FH
2 dealt quads
4OAK- A,6,K,8,9,7,6,Kd,K,2,Kd
1 4RF
In conclusion, another harrable holiday excursion...

Bummer on the financials, but did you achieve your tier objective, or will you only be Six Stars in February?TripleTriple wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2025 8:11 amA 5X TC multiplier week was enough of a reason with the very remote chance of achieving Seven Stars.

Bummer TT. Hope your next foray goes better. Interesting how other CET properties offer different incentives. Here in AZ, Ak-Chin advertised (Arizona Gaming Guide) 10X credit multipliers each Thursday in January.

I'll take that as a yes. Congrats!

I repeated my 250k with a few weeks to spare, so from there I should have just shut down for the year.
