Harrah's 10X Enticer

Post by TripleTriple »

Drove down Monday for the 10X TC promo. And to see if viewing a Slot Massacre video "I won SO much money, I lost count"? would lead to corresponding wealth. Spoiler- I did NOT lose count of how much I lost.

Checked in with ease to Atrium 15th floor, stashed my sandwiches in the fridge, obtained usual cash advance and lost 7 Franklins in 45 minutes. Strolled over to Borgata to check on the SDDB (downgraded) and inquire on card match. I got the Platinum card for 90 days probation, else revert to base card level.

Back at Harrah's I had very little in the way of substantial hits and continued the downward slide to minus $2G+ even with eight 4OAKs. Had an inordinate number-maybe a dozen or so- of 4SF but couldn't fill any in. Just one on the deal would've brought me even. Very frustrating. Retreated to the room and fell asleep watching TV.

Woke up around 3 am and took my last three bills down for a final stand. I expected to last another half hour, but I was still at it four hours later; I had taken it up to $1850 when I cashed. Two 1K kicker hands and two $750 dealt quads saved me from a VP massacre. Took a nap and a shower before I attempted to regain the rest in a pre-departure session. Suffered a quad drought and lost a portion back but kept it under minus 1K- still in the black YTD. Evidently I need to watch a lot more YouTube...

Those you tube videos weren't very helpful to you, this trip. But, on the next trip it could be a different story. Have you thought about playing with your dad? I can't as my dad passed away 35 years ago.

Better luck next time.

In a nasel voice-

"Gee, Dad, you were only one card away from hitting that royal. Wow."

Exciting and well chronicled series of events, as usual. I felt like I was a fly on the wall in each room. You suffered from the common break even gambler revenge malady (BEG) at the end when you should have just showered and split. But the TCs added up.

It’s always a real tug of war. Sometimes I wonder if I’m the only one on my side of the rope! 😬 Nice trip report. At least they seem to be taking care of other amenities.

Hope he drank a lot of water after that pre departure fraught drought. If you’re basically even after a brutal stay, call off the hounds.
