Is there an ideal game for contests?

Post by Shadowtone06 »

I'm new here and just getting the hang of video poker. I play A LOT of JOB and recently have been playing more Dues Wild. I'm really enjoying the contests and having a good time learning. :)

In Dues Wild I noticed the pay out for 4 dues is 1000 where as in JOB anything bellow a royal flush doesn't pay anywhere close to that. It dosn't seem like getting 4 dues is any harder then getting any other 4 of a kind. It seems like, I could be wrong, that Dues Wild has more potential for points in a limited session then JOB.

Idk, is there a best game for maximizing my scores in the contests? I have not really tried to learn the others yet kus I I'm trying to take it one at a time lol Obviously luck is luck but seems like I could be doing more to at least earn more on average.

Thanks and happy playing. 8-)

In my opinion, if your aim is to finish high in one of the short term contests, you pretty much have to play one of the higher volatility games, and hope to hit one of the really big hands. Most times, of course, you won't hit one of those premium hands, and will finish well down the list.

That makes a lot of sense and was honestly what I was kind of thinking. What would be like, the most volatile variant?
