I play video poker to keep my wallet working. Plus my arm gets a lot of exercise considering how many times I pull my wallet out of my pocket to feed the VP machines. Also, I am told that when I file bankruptcy the various forms that I will have to fill out will give me a huge dose of mental exercise. VP is very beneficial healthwise!!!

Ditto! I also get lots of exercise walking to the ATM inside the casino and restrooms too since the one near the VP machines is closed for remodeling.

The best strategy: overeat/drink before a session. You are guaranteed to be off the machine within the hour one way or another.

Not too long ago, I sat down at a machine before dinner hoping for a quick hit to cover the tip before dinner. 8 hours later I was busted, starving, and the restaurants were closed. Tail between my legs, I headed up to the room, grabbed a 1.58 pack of cheese and crackers in the hotel lobby store and headed up to the room hoping the water was there. But Hey, I lost a couple of pounds so all was good !! . And my mind got a full 8 hour workout!!

I am also a veteran of the Penny Wise Pound Foolish strategy. It has ruined countless trips. Rarely does a a comeback ensue. Just digging a deeper grave. I am now striving to severely curtail Time In Casino. This and Bankroll are inversely related.
