Question about JOB Multi Strike

Post by scotty2hotty »

I'm heading over to Caesar's in Indiana here shortly to play JOB Multi Strike VP and have a question for you guys:  Does this website's version of this game use the RNG system casinos use? The reason I ask this is because I played for nearly an hour and a half this morning and have been kicking some serious butt! Granted I have been using Bob Dancer's strategy for each individual level (which definitely works I might add). But it just seems like I am hitting flushes, straights, and even nailed 2 4OAKs like it was nobody's business.

I'm just wondering if BD's strategy is really that effective, or if it is a combination of the RNG giving me some love. Just curious if anybody on here has used his strategy to practice this version on this website. If so, any feedback would be appreciated.

This website uses a standard RNG which is similar to casino. Just like a player can get hot at a casino that can happen here as well. Play enough times and I'm sure you'll happen on to a few cold spells as well.
Although using expert play strategies will definitely help over time, they usually don't have too much effect in a single session.

ENJOY YOUR TRIP TO CAESAR'S AND HOPEFULLY THE LUCK YOU ARE EXPERIECING NOW WILL TRANSFER WHEN USING REAL $'S. I BELIEVE THAT IT PROBABLY IS THE RNG GOD'S BEING KIND TO YOU AT THIS TIME. BUT I HAVE FOUND THAT DANCERS TRAINING DOES GIVE ONE A LITTLE BIT OF AN EDGE IF USED.

Cool, thanks for the advice fellas. I'm heading out the door now, so I'll let you know how I fared using BD's strategy. I thnk you nailed it shadowman, one session won't tell the tale. I am going back Saturday with my fiance and some friends, so I'll consider this a warm up for the real thing. Plus, I'm only taking $60 to play on the nickel machine so I can play longer and see how I do. I'm going to take an extra sheet of paper and just for kicks notate how many times I make it to the 8x (4th level), and then how many times I actually win on it, and how much. It seems I read something online somewhere that somebody was saying to just play 3 levels instead of 4 and save $$; that the 4th level does not hit enough to make it worthwhile on a limited bankroll ($100 or less).

Ok I'm back from my gambling excursion. I thought I had $60 on me, but it turned out to be $42, so I only ended up losing a  meager $40....lol. I actually did very well playing JOB on the 5 cent multi strike VP machine, believe it or not. I played for 70 minutes on only $20! I was pleasantly surprised. I would've already gone through $60-$100 playing video slots in that timeframe.

The payout schedule for the 5 cent JOB VP machine was 8/6 (flush and straight).

I wrote down every time I made it to the 4th (8x) level, and here are my findings:

--I made it to the 4th level approximately 18 times.
--I won 9 out of the 18 times I made it (50% ratio, pretty darn good!)
--I won a total of 592 credits ($29.60) on this level alone.

Of course as everyone knows, VP is a game of ebbs and flows, and my good streak lasted for around the first 40 minutes or so that I played. At one point, I had my initial $20 deposit up to $41.50. The hard part is knowing when to pull the trigger, and I certainly wasn't ready to call it quits less than an hour into it, especially with hitting a couple of flushes, a couple of straights, and even a 4oak!. But inevitably, the law of averages goes the other way, and I went cold and played out my winnings. I was hoping to see the tide turn the other way, but it didn't turn for me until all my winnings were exhausted.

So then I found a regular Game King .25 JOB 9/6 game and put my other $20 into it. Within six minutes, I had lost the entire $20!! So I've decided to stick with the 5 cent machine when my fiance and I go back this Saturday. I bet I'll be able to play with $40 for several hours on that one. It's fun, I hit some big hands, and I didn't lose my ass, so that's good enough for me being a casual gambler.

Oh yeah, one interesting thing I'll add: As soon as I set down at the 5 cent machine, there was a retired school teacher sitting next to me playing the same type of machine. Not even 3 or 4 hands later, she hit a royal flush!! I told her "You're my good luck charm, so don't leave for awhile until some of that good mojo rubs off on me!" She said that was the 2nd time she had gotten a royal flush on that same exact machine. I don't remember exactly what her balance was before hitting it, but I know afterwards it showed over $233. I think she said she just put $20 in and won off of that. She cashed that bad boy out with the quickness.

Man, I wish I could hit one of those royal flushes.........one day.

Good report!

I haven't tried Multi-Strike in the casino yet.  I guess my luck in trying it here on the site has been opposite yours.  I almost never get to that top line and when I do, I can't get a draw. I've had good and bad runs though like you say. Hopefully if I get the guts to try it for real it's in the "good" category.

I hear ya there Eduardo. Hey, if you would like for me to send you the Bob Dander's strategy cards for all four levels of JOB multi strike, just shoot me your email address. I found it so useful today I will take it with me everytime I go to the casino. I think it's really good. And anyone else on this forum that would like a copy, I'll be happy to oblige as well. Would like to hear feedback from others on it in the future to see what they think of it.

I play Bob's strategy and have found it to be very helpful as well.  I really love going to Caesar's Indiana and would love to drive up and sit next to you tomorrow but I have to work! Dang it! Oh I forgot you will be with that lucky lady of yours and I can tell you she is a lot better than this old man.
