The flush hold is the correct play in JOB. If the pair was Jacks or better you would hold them over the flush.

I hate flushes ... I couldn't hit one today.
Thankfully the FHs and 4oaks were more kind.

Hellboyz,You will see that most tutorials and software programs will advise the hi pair unless it's 4SF or 4RF. Holding for the flush regardless if you have a hi pair will negatively impact your ER either by session or longterm. I have a buddy who plays DW and holds certain cards for no rhyme or reason. Doesn't play by strategy and doesn't care to learn proper play methods, heck he doesn't even read the paytables, just plays because he loves DW. Over 10 years of playing along with him,I can honestly say he's only hit 2 RF's(no deuces).

You can check out the Video Poker Software section of the main forum.
The current products out there include the winpoker/Video Poker Strategy Master (VPSM) combo, Wolf Video Poker (WVP), Frugal Video Poker (FVP), Optimum Video Poker, vipoker and the one affliated with this site, Video Poker for Winners (VPW).
All of these can answer questions about many games. You may want to look at them all before deciding what you want.
