Low Denomination Royals
Does anyone else find they get more Royals playing less than .25 denominations? I have always played .25 VP- 3 Play STP, 3 and 5 Play White Hot Aces and Super Aces. I RARELY get a Royal. Maybe 2 or 3 a year! The last 2 trips we switched over to nickel 5 play cause we were way down-the first night I sat at a single line DDB nickel game and got a royal-them moved to the 5play nickel and got a royal! The next mornig back to the 5 play-trying to win the 6300 buck progressive-and got another royal! Yesterday we were bored so we took 100 bucks to Empire City to see what the deal was with the VLT poker games-we played dimes and guess what? Yes I got another royal! Thats 4 in 3 trips! Where are all the .25 royals????? By the way-we saw a woman win $41,000 on the Hot Shots penny slot!

I wish I could find a nickel machine! It seems most of the machines are now .25 or more at Harrah's casinos. I went to one in Evansville that is Aztar and they had a couple of nickel machines but they were all taken. I really like your luck and hope it continues!

There are plenty of nickel machines downtown in Vegas and in the outlying casinos. Unfortunately, I found NONE that were 5-credit Positive machines. I found only one bank at Arizona Charlie's that were 15-credit nickel DDB positives. Most are either 9/5 or 8/5. Las Vegas Club and Plaza and Main Street Station have 9/6 DDB.Consequently, I played mostly Blackjack <sigh>. And, I have certainly not experienced any abundance of Royals on nickel machines! <LOL> But then, I'm not playing as much as I used to play. Golf seems to be getting in the way.

Ouch. I promise you all this... when I hit my first royal it will NOT be on a machine less than quarters. I don't play in the casino often enough to risk that!

Again, supreme controller of the RNG chip, how could you make such a statement pre-determining your own destiny. Thats terrible! Perhaps we'd all like to be christened with a $1 RF but sometimes that isn't realistic! I hope yours will be a big one perhaps a progressive would be nice. Mine was a nickel and again, am grateful for whatever table scraps I can get!

Easy, I can detemine it by never playing anything below quarters.

Many, many years ago I played quite a bit of nickel VP. Never had a single RF in around 3 years.

37 months is the average rf on 5c machines. due to the slower rng.
Sounds good anyway.

Shadow and J, I must be ahead of the curve as I've played almost exclusively pennies and nickels VP on 3 trips tp LV and 1 to Laughlin over a 9 month span. Can't tell you or guesstimate how many hands involved but I'd venture to say $900.00 was the total money invested for all trips. Hit 4 RF's 3 nickels and 1 penny. Penny RF I posted on last month. One nickel was 3 play 9/6 DDB at Sunset Station. 2 out of 3 lines for $400.00 not shabby for 75 cents a spin. Total take for $900 investment(including RFB) $1,025.00
