DDB Super times dilemma
Hi everyone. I've been a free member for quite some time and I'm a fairly experienced and active player. I just upgraded to gold today so I could join in on the forums. My favorite game has become double double bonus 10-play. I usually play quarters, but will go to dollars on a triple play machine if I that's what it takes to get at least a 9-6 pay schedule.
Here's my dilemma: I like playing supertimes double double bonus as well, however the pay schedules are usually 8-5 for quarters and 9-5 for dollars. In regular DDB the right plays are to hold inside staright draws and both pairs when one pair is JJ, QQ, or KK. Should this strategy change when a multiplier is in play to maximize the payback percentage. Should I dump the inside straight and hold nothing; and should I dump the low pair and keep only the JOB to try and hit quads and benefit from the multiplier. I went to VP genius and wizardofodds.com and found there are no hand analyzers for supertimes poker.
If there is a website with a hand analyzer for this game or if anyone has any experience with this situation I'd appreciate the feedback.

With Super Times Pay, since ALL the payoffs are multiplied, there is no reason to change strategy if you wish to play to maximize expected value. A regular hand analyzer will give you the correct answer. For example, with the 9/5 paytable and no multiplier, holding JJ44 will give you an expected value of 8.4043 coins vs. 7.2390 coins by holding JJ. If you have a multiplier of 5, then holding JJ44 will give you 5 x 8.4043 = 42.0215 coins vs. 5 x 7.2390 = 36.1950 coins, within rounding. If x > y, then 5x > 5y.
Some people might change to JJ with a high multiplier because the thrill of getting a quad payoff with a multiplier is so high, but it will provide less expected value. But you have to decide whether you want higher EV or higher thrills.
Now, there are strategy differences when Super Times Pay is crossed with Multistrike, but that is a different post.
