weird problem!!

Post by royalgt »

My wife and I always go to the casino, play VP, spend the night and go home the next day. The problem is that we have a great time the first day, win or lose, but the next day we ALWAYS lose!!! I know the logical thing to do is to get up and go, but we want to continue to gamble for awhile.  We are both morning people, so not half asleep or anything. Anyone else have similar experiences????

i usually stay up really late into the morning on the day i am leaving. so by the time i get up to the room and catch a few hours of sleep, it's time to get up and check out. however, i never want to leave either so i understand where you are coming from! i usually ask for a late check-out so that forces me to leave by that time since it's already 2 pm or so by that time....

My wife and I do the same thing on our summer gambling trips. I've had streaks where I've had your experience. However, it has evened out over time. There was a time I actually considered not playing the next morning. But, as with most random situations it eventually changes. Now, I've even had experiences where I lost big on the first day and won all or most of it back the next morning.

YES! I have had that same thing happen but only consistently at MI Native American casinos: The Soo (Sault Ste Marie, Eastern end of the UP, as in Upper Peninsula), Turtle Creek (Acme, near Traverse City) Little River (Manistee) AND Soaring Eagle (Mt. Pleasant) AND also Caesar's Windsor. I am also a morning person and otherwise have some of my best wins at regular casinos in the morning, when I am "alert" and playing "perfectly".

One of the things that I was wondering is that it seems impossible for the casino to juggle the outcome of a machine since the paytables are the same. I guess just bad luck the morning after! I go twice a month and look forward to go every time. If the bad luck continues I will just get my bags packed, have breakfast and leave.

How can you do that when there is a machine calling your name?
We must obey or we will never be lucky again.
The secret is to skip breakfast, get jacked up on coffee and play the machine like you stole it.
