Encore
Has anyone gotten a three night and $200 Free Credit offer from Encore? I just booked it from Jan 28-30. It opens on Dec 22 from what I have seen it looks really nice. I played at Wynn last year and played quite a bit but didn't lose any money actually left a head. Hopefully Encore is as nice as Wynn.

I would rather leave my money behind than my head.
I want to see the Encore sometime too. The tower looks nice.

Yes. I had a post up about it last week. I booked it for one night to get the slot playing. Already staying at 2 other places that weekend.
However, the offer said nothing about Encore. It said 3 complimentary nights "in a room resort." Did yours say Encore? It just said Wynn on it.

we obviously got different offers. mine does not say encore and there are more blackout dates. it's not valid on the following dates: 11/17-18; 12/4, 7-8, 28-31; 1/7-8, 19-22; 2/2-5, 12, 16-18

i found the room to be a major disappointment. if i had paid for it, i would have been very upset. decided not to leave the free room at the venetian for this one. the venetian one was 100x nicer and much bigger.
the encore was opening at 8pm monday so the room couldn't have been there.

I stayed for free deal 2 weeks ago. Room is nice. Divided into 2 sections. Rooms at the Wynn are still my favorite. The bathtub isn't the same one as the Wynn. There's a hallway connecting the 2 hotels. Both hotels are beautiful and well decorated. The casino in the Encore seems to be smaller.

Mightwin...
How did everything go? Did you use the free slot play? It's strange there...at most other places, they load it on the card and you can only cash out what you win. At the Wynn, you actually have to put your own cash in the machine to download the credits but you can still cash out what you win but if you're not careful, you start playing on your own money once the free credits run out.
As i said before, I thought the room was a major let down. The room at the Venetian was much, much nicer and much bigger and I never stayed in the wynn room. Would never pay out of my own pocket to stay there. The only nice thing about the wynn room was the wall of glass overlooking the golf course.
Everyone I have taken to see the wynn was not impressed. We all thought it was overly ornate and tacky. The Bellagio tops that place any day (at least in my opinion)...
anyway, hope you had a good (and prosperous trip!!)

Both are beautiful. VP is lacking. I wish strip casinos would at least put a few good machines in to draw some players beyond the tourist fare, but I won't lose any sleep over it if they don't want my business.
