The Wizard of Odds' (link below) statistics indicate that the total number of quads for 9/6 Jacks or Better, quick and otherwise, are 15,950.33 out of the cycle of 2,598,960 hands, around one quad every 163 hands. Unfortunately, he does not break these down into which quads are quick. But we can estimate that the number of quick quads is probably a bit more than 67% up to around 69%.Since he does break these down for 8/5 Bonus Poker, we can make some inferences. For the 8/5 game, there are a total of 16,117.93 quads (1 per 161 hands), with 10,800.63 (1 per 241 hands) being quick and 5317.30 (1 per 489 hands) being of the regular variety. So, slightly more than 67% of the quads are quick.Since the payoffs for quads are higher and that for a full house and flush are lower with Bonus Poker, it makes sense that there are more total quads in Bonus Poker. And since quad aces pay so much more in bonus poker, I would expect Bonus Poker to have a slightly higher percentage of regular quads and a slightly lower percentage of quick quads than Jacks 9/6 has.http://wizardofodds.com/videopoker/quickquads.htmlFrom a dealt hand perspective, there are 624 combinations that are regular quads (13 x 48) and 1400 combinations that are of the quick variety (20 x 4 x 4 x 4 + 5 x 4 x 6, with the first term being the number of trips hands like 3332A that convert to quick quads and the latter being the number of full house hands like 88844 that convert to quick quads). So here, slightly more than 69% of the total quads are quick quads.I seem to recall that Webman gave some statistics on quads when they were the feature game in a couple of the contests though I don't recall whether these were broken down by specific game. I don't think 9/6 Jacks was one of the contest games, though, and probably not many people would have played that game since it behooves you to play the bonus games when trying for the high scores necessary to place in a contest.

You may wish to check out our Quick Quads feature area for Bob Dancer's Quick Guide to Quick Quads (available free on this web site) and strategies for the game.I scanned through the book quickly just now and don't see the info you are requesting about the cycles. But if you are interested in the game, it is certainly worth reading.

The overall cycle time for combined QQs and natural quads is just over 160 hands. That assumes using proper strategy.
