Aria Report
Was in Vegas for Super Bowl weekend at Caesars. Our old Mirage host, who is now at Aria, invited us over for dinner, and to check out the new digs. The rooms are supposedly very large and modern, according to the host. The casino is modern, but very dark tones. It reminded me of Palms a little. The VP pay tables are terrible, with a very poor selection of multi-line games. Some good $1 slots, but I did not see a lot of winners, myself included. Dinner at Sage was OK, but very pricey for what we had (on the host's tab, thank goodness). It's easy to get to with the tram from Bellagio, but I would not frequent the casino for any serious playing.

Tks for the Aria report, billyjoe. I agree, what's with their lack of lighting? You think they are trying to conserve on electricity to compensate for a little construction budget over run? I finally found a DW quarter machine in a dark, isolated corner that was decent to play. However, I found myself wondering how long it would take to locate a silver whistle in the bottom of my purse should I feel a need to use it. When I start thinking about that whistle it's time for me to move on to where I feel more comfortable. Someone else had given a similar report on their pay tables. It's big, new and beautiful and seemed so deserted that day that one wondered if they meant to be open for business.
