Odyssey VP machines...
When I first started visiting Vegas annually I recall seeing machines in Monte Carlo and Aladdin(maybe others, too)that were like a video game-they had a pair of hands dealing you the cards(with a Western theme) and there were at least 4 variations of VP-Double bonus and Bonus were the ones I remember. They were called Odyssey and were always in banks of six-three machines back-to-back. There were also blackjack and slot varieties. Of course, this was a coin-pay machine, which is pretty much obsolete by now. This is the machine that hooked me on VP. Saw it once in AC but I am pretty sure they are all gone now. Does anyone else remember these?

I remember those, but now that you mention it I haven't seen them for several years. They were pretty quirky but did hold your attention.

The short version of the story (as I understand it) is that the company that made the Odyssey machines was bought out by IGT and it's impossible to get parts (or support) for them, so any remaining machines are dying a slow death.
Luxor had a small bank of them up until about a year ago. There was still one working machine in the Golden Gate casino in downtown Las Vegas on my last trip.

Unfortunately I have to remove the information about that site because they also appear to have online gambling as one of their services which is illegal in this country and discussion of it not permitted here. I know you were linking to free games but the site is still not allowed to be linked here. Sorry.

 No problem -- I totally understand your stance. Wasn't trying to cause trouble.

I know. That's why you weren't banned.
No worries.
