Memorial Day Trip

Post by Lucky Larry »

Mrs. L, daughter, SIL, and I went to casino Sunday night. Daughter loves Spin Poker and we watched all night as she played Spin DWB 10¢ from a few $ to well over $1K before we left her to go to bed at 5:00 a.m. She was dealt deuces and hit deuces and D/A some many times I lost count.

Sunday, no joy for Mrs. L or me. Monday, Mrs. L played $50 Ultimate X 5¢ up to almost $1K and cashed out. Then she played the progressive RF. We had seen a friend hit the RF hit the night before but the AWAK progressive continued to climb all night over $700,,$750..$800. It was hard to get a machine with everyone trying to hit the Aces. Mrs. L finally got a machine and yep! Dealt to her. (picture below)

A short time later and down to my last $30+ playing 25¢ five play JOB held a single Ace and hit the RF.

kjohn,
There is an interesting side story. 5 minutes before I hit, two friends were sitting next just a few feet away playing multi-hand 5¢.   Almost simultaneously, Tony was dealt 4 to RF clubs on 50 hands and Corliss sitting next to him playing 8 hands and was dealt 3 to RF on clubs. I went over to watch since we were all talking and joking around and I had been playing 5¢ twenty minutes earlier with them.

Corliss hit 1 RF and Tony none out of 50. He laughs and says, " see it pays not to hold 4 to RF". Three hands later he holds 3 hearts to RF and hits a RF. A minute or two later I hit my RF on the Ace of hearts. I quickly changed to $JOB and was dealt 4 hearts to a RF on 3 hands (same suit as my 25¢ RF.) Unfortunately didn't hit or that would have been an even better story.

So what are the odds two players next to each other are dealt 3-4 RF of the same suit almost simultaneously? And what are the odds my 4 RF were the same suit as my RF? The same as Tony's? One of those mysteries!
