An Almost Great Win

Since I never seem to get any great wins in casinos anymore, I thought I would share a recent "almost" story. I was in New Orleans last week. I was playing $.50 5-way TDB. Was dealt four deuces, no kicker. Held the four, and got NO KICKERS on all five hands. $10k (if dealt a kicker) went to $1k. Needless to say, I was a little miffed. So I swiched to $.50 3-way TDB Double Pay with a triple bet as max bet (that's 90 coins instead of the normal 30 coins for 3-way Double Pay). Soon, I was dealt four to the royal on the bottom line, and of course, drew nothing. That ONE MISSING CARD on the deal would have been a $108k jackpot !!

Dealt low quads w/kicker on TDB 5-play is 10000 credits, $5000 at 50 cents, not $10,000.  I did see a lady get dealt a royal on 3 play 50 cent double pay on the bottom hand for a $36,000 payout at Caesar's in Vegas last December. That must have been awesome for her. It was also her birthday, what a great present.

Wow Billy 108k Oh so close but so far away. Do you know how many rounds of golf you could play on 108k............alot.

You are right Mule, it would have been $5k instead of the $1k that I got. I guess I shouldn't have been as "miffed" as I was..

I think the double pay would have just been for that single line not all 3 lines.  But hey least you got the $1k   and yea double pay will eat your lunch quick.
