PKM: Cards Constantly Shuffling?

Post by J Dubs »

Question, with the PickEm Poker games, Of the "two stacks" you have to pick from, are those cards already pre-determined... or does it depends on WHEN you press the card or button, which two cards come out? Basically, is it predetermined what is in the "pile" , and if not,  does the timing of when you make the decision determine what 2 cards come in? I have read conflicting comments about this. I was assuming that the cards are constantly shuffling and WHEN I make my decision I get two Random cards. Thanks

Depends on who you ask

Does it make a difference?  The result is the same.

I was going to ask why it matters too. What will you do differently, count to three in between draws?

You guys are right of course that the answer to the question, if known, would not affect the strategy that should be used in making the selection...but it sure seems that a lot of people without super-math or programming skills (and even some who have them) want to know this answer. It also seems that there is absolutely no reason that the people who program the games should keep this a secret, since knowing the answer does not help or hurt the player or the casino...and like I said, my observation is that lots of "inquiring minds want to know."Just advertise it so everyone knows...unless someone can think of some reason that keeping it a secret is beneficial to someone.

Yeah, well, because we wonder if we hadn't hesitated on making our pick, if the cards would be different. I , personally, would feel better about playing this Game if my outcome wasn't already predetermined.... I'd like to think the Timing of when I pick the card, mattered in the outcome. I was hoping the cards "behind" each pile weren't fixed from the get-go. If they are in fact fixed outcomes, then waiting or taking extra time to make a decision doesn't matter at all.

The issue would be "Dealt" VS "Drawn".  What does the player feel luckier at. One chance for a good hand or two and how important do they feel their contribution is.

It would be nice to hear it, but unlikely to happen.  Chipmakers are binded to the "RNG" how it works is up in the air.  Also the various case statements in the logic could be argued.

There is no regulation stipulating that under certain circumstances the outcome could not be altered.
