3 friends and our Royal

Post by mschaching »

Went to LV with 2 friends... The 2 friends are VERY conservative
gamblers and then there is me who LIKES to gamble a bit.  First night I
say " we are all going to pony up $20 and see how it goes, whoever is
having the best JU JU will use their card." Played some fun Slots, Vp
machines, up alittle ,down alittle.  Last night in town I'm playing a .50
single draw BP at MSS, am late meeting friends cuz I am
winning...finally meet up !  . So we eat a very nice (comped by the
way) dinner at 777 brewpub, go do "The Strip Thing" and get back to MSS
at midnight.  I say "We have $38 left of original stake...Split it or
Play it Out?"....We play.. Go to the .50 BP I was playing before
dinner, my card in,   Down to $18, hold a Jack  and hit a Flipping
Royal for $2000.00!!!!  Now guess who likes to gamble a bit more..

#1 Rule: Never gamble with "Scared Money"
#2 Rule:
Sometimes you just have to Strap 'em on

We didn't realize we had even hit the Royal at first.  We all saw the red cards, thought flush but then the machine said Call Attendant..  There were no lights , bells, Hoopla etc.  Maybe they don't like calling attention to a big win.  God I've heard more noise out of those obnoxious Super Penny slot machines..

But the most important question: How much did you get on the scratch-off card?Congrats on the nice win!

I saved all my scratch off cards from our 3 nite stay.. I had 28 cards (so 28 quads) for a grand total of $46.. paid for gas and parking!!!
