I once had two royals in two hands...and it was in a casino, not in an online contest.

Welcome to forum edog743, There is no doubt in my mind that these scores are legit and also VERY LUCKY! In the last gold contest I had a royal and awak in the same session but still ended up 14th. Twice in casinos I have had four royals in one day and sure hope that happens in Vegas next week. RARE, true, but not impossible! I am way over due for some GOOD luck!

These scores are legit.......Today, I finally hit the 4 aces in Royal Aces for 4,000.....Then changed game to Triple Double Bonus and, hit the Royal Flush for 4,000, ending up with a total score of 8210, however, I didn't make the top 5..................I was only averaging 500 points per game until today and, like many others was ready to give up playing due to all the high scores....So dont get discouraged, it will come........someday.

Anuenue, congrats on making the top 9. Isn't it fun to see your name highlighted on the board?

I guess, if I had a program that allowed me to cheat, I would only use it to win every third or fourth contest even though the temptation would be great to win them all.
Don't believe there has ever been a repeat winner. I don't even recall anyone finishing in the top ten more then once.

For sure and, thanks. Although I'm not a gold member and can't see 9th. But appreciate you letting me know.

As others have pointed out... it does happen. Hitting two payouts of 4000 in a single session is unlikely, but well within the odds for all sessions. We understand the frustration since a good score (500 credits) is so far below the very top scores. Also, please note that some game types are better than others in the contest. A payout of 4000 is not always a royal flush.

I'll add that it's important to view the "top scores" as just that. They are the best of the best out there.150,760 sessions have been completed so far in this contest. So ask yourself: If I played this contest 150,760 times, would I expect to get a few scores in the 8,000 range? I would think that most people would say "yes." But if you have only played 20 or even 500 sessions, you can see that this is a very small piece of the picture. There are more than 7,000 players who would like to be in that range, with only a handful achieving it so far. But every session is new and has that opportunity if you make the right holds and get the right cards. Obviously getting the cards to begin with can be the biggest challenge sometimes.
