MATH GAMES WE PLAY....
Hubby just handed me Kiplinger's Dec 2010. pg 29, YOUR MIND AND YOUR MONEY by ROBERT FRICK, "Math Games We Play" intro:A guy walks up to a high roller in a casino and asks "Could you help me out? My wife is sick and needs medicine that I can't afford. Just two hundred bucks. Please, I'm begging you." "That's some sad story pardner. But how do I know you're not going to gamble with that two hundred bucks?" The guy says "Oh, I got gambling money."

You allocate money into each account that you set up and use it accordingly. For example, each paycheck might be broken into a mortgage allocation, a car allocation, a living expenses allocation, a vacation allocation, a 401K allocation, and one of my favorites a 401G allocation. Works for me....
