Streak Con't - Biloxi Trip

Sweet C and I just got back from trip to Biloxi to meet the kids. I wasn't exicted and dreaded the low pay returns. Stayed at Isle Lake Charles Thursday to cut the drive and then Isle Biloxi Friday. We both had streaks going mine was a Royal/G on every trip since being dealt 5 RF on New Years Day and Sweet C has hit the Progressive AWAK at least once every trip. The streak continued on Saturday with this deal at Isle Biloxi 100 play 5¢.

A few good hits on 25¢ multi-hand at Beau Rivage including 2 AWAKS. Nothing in Biloxi for Sweet C, her streak AWAK was in jeopardy. Drove back to Isle Lake Charles Sunday. She was getting down since she had 3 days with no major hits. She played her favorite Progressive took this hit:

Meanwhile I began playing my favorite multi-hand 3/5 play. I generally play 25¢ NSUD and many nights I don't see 3 deuces. Sunday, 6 times I was dealt 3 deuces and hit 3 different times pulling tickets. On a premonition (which was really hot all night) I put a small ticket into $DDB which I can't afford to play very often and on the fourth hand hit this:

Finally, today Sweet C caught her Progressive AWAK again. She's now in a much better mood.

BTW we stopped at Island View in Gulfport. They have a promotional - they'll double any Gulf Coast area "free cash offer" up to $500 for free play. Video Poker not included.

Larry way to go with the dealt royal. That's two dealt royals in a short span for you. The odds of getting a royal dealt is over 600,000-1. To have two dealt royals that recent is amazing. I've been playing video poker since the early 80's and have never been dealt a royal. WTG!

To say we've been blown away by this streak is an understatement. Knowing the odds for a dealt RF makes it even more amazing. We've been blessed and "damn lucky". Since we began in late 2005 both of us have caught 4 dealt RF. Sweet C has hit the Progressive AWAK 9 times since New Year's Eve several times twice in one trip.

Sweet C and I can't believe how we've beaten the odds. On 1/15/11 Sweet C hit a RF followed by AWAK within a dozen hands. Later that evening I moved to the same bank of progressives on the machine next to where she hit. I held 4 to RF, caught the RF and within a dozen hands caught the AWAK. We've talked about that sequence for days.

Since New Year's Eve it has been an incredible run of "I can't believe this..." We played for several years and know the odds for these hits. We know this is a "probably once in a lifetime run".

I assume you will be back ASAP to see if the run will continue.  I sure would be.  The run may be scheduled to end in 2 days, so see you at the casino today,tomorrow,.... until it ends?
