I gave up my strategy of playing DDB only when I doubled my money in deuces.  Hit too many good 4-of-a-kinds in deuces.   I have decided to play .50 DDB and just go for it.  If I lose, I'll lick my wounds and try another day.  I finally had a great day at the Tampa Hard Rock.   Two straight flushes, 4-of-kinds all over the place and 4 aces to top it off.  Left up $1,500 and enjoyed being a winner for a while.  Winning is a lot more fun than losing...

Random really does mean random. All specialized strategies will work at various times in a random environment. They will also fail to work eventually.

Yea I love to hate Deuces.  So much fun to play but dam the quads.
 
I was playing TDB 3 play the other day.  Got dealt 3 aces and got the 4th Ace and a 3 on the 2nd line.  Got paid and said well now I can play Dueces since I hit the Aces.
 
 
About 5 hands later I got dealt Quad Aces with a 3.  Would have been $12,000 instead it was $60.  So I kept playing Deuces still trying to process wtf just happend and omg again dealt quad aces and on the draw I hit 323.  Would have been another $12,000 instead I got $120.
 
And that is how you turn $24,000 into $180.  I mean Deuces pays $1,000 but still on any other game I play TDB or DDB Deuces still pay $400 at minimum.  I still can't figure out why I keep playing Deuces.  They kill me all the time  but still so fun to play.

I love to play deuces, but it's soooo frustrating.  It lures you in with the 1000 point 4 deuce bonus, then hangs you out to dry with what sometimes seems like weeks before another quad deuce comes along.  I once got three sets of quad deuces in about 30 minutes sitting at the Beau Rivage bar, but that was in another world far far away.  If you don't get quad deuces, you're in for a very long day.

What you experienced is exactly why I gave up deuces wild. I have 99.73% deuces games available to me all over the place, but I'd rather play 9/6 or even 9/5 DDB or TDB at about 98-99% return. The reason is short session play. If I were going to play 10 hrs/day for 3-4 days I'd play NSU deuces, the returns are more consistant over that period of time especially on multi-hand. But if I'm going to play 1 short session (1-2 hours), I'll take DDB or TDB anyday over the deuces. There is so much more of a chance to hit a nice hand on these games in a short period of time.

If youre having a rough day playing DDB and not catching any quads, and want to see a few,simply switch over to DW. This happens all the time. Cant hit a quad and then switch, and start hitting Natural quads or even dealt Natural quads no problem, Its even better when you get the kicker. Nothing fishy here, ya right

Seems to work the same with "Coin In". Can't hit nothin @ Max, then drop bet to min. when almost broke for day and start getting quads or even royals. Go back up to max, Nothin! And all over again. Happens so consistenly to me and my girlfriend its hard to believe in RNG. Just like always being dealt the card you needed to make quads on the following hand all the time.
Yeah, I'm on a losing streak. Yeah I'm Grumpy.
