Tale of Two Women

Post by Lucky Larry »

Two women playing beside me during the weekend - D and G.

D is a local regular who plays multi-hand 5¢ usually 4-5 hands for hours. She sits quietly switching games never gambling much even though she may have several hundred $ in the machine. She was dealt deuces, hit a RF, and then was dealt Aces on 5 hands of Super Aces. She was so excited and appreciative. I even took a picture of her Aces for her. She asked me to keep it so she could see the next time we come.

G plays big time often STP $. She told me she was down $5K when she sat next to me on multi-hand 5¢. $100 in - max play, 100x5 =$25/hand, Triple Double Bonus. This continues $100 after $100 while complaining how far down she is and how she needs to stop. Then she shares she just back from Sin City and was down $6K plus playing back a jackpot. She builds up the pot to $1,500 and plays it down. More $ in, now $20's and small tickets still playing max. Surprise! Dealt 3's and multiple hands hit kickers. Hand-pay $3K+. She gets upset because she had less than $20 in the machine when she hit 3's and has to wait for hand pay to have money to continue playing and its killing her. Gets paid and continues to play and going through the money. Surprise! Dealt Aces and hits 20+ kickers for almost $8K hand pay. When we left early in the morning she was still at it and back at $STP the next day.

Interestingly, one woman seemed to be having a whole lot more fun when she caught the aces than the other.

Just for you D.

Thanks for sharing the interesting stories, L L.  Great pix of someone else's' hit. I assume you offered to send it to her computer. Our son was happy when a stranger was kind enough to take a picture of him with Penn and Teller. This was after their fun performance at Rio in Vegas and his batteries needed recharging.

Call me G and I'm not a lady .  I once won $18K in handpays and left a $2,200 winner.  You read that a go wtf but if it cost you $2k to win $2k its a different story.  I was never up the whole night more than about $600 and was in the hole $1800 when I hit a $4k to call it a night.
