webman i cant get to my private messages.friends have left me emails that i need to copy  i need your help.

I had the same problem yesterday and today. Now I can open my messages. Click on "settings" at the top of this page. Private Messenger is in the drop down menu. "Active Topics" is also now at the top of this page and I could not access that for two days.
