Beau Rivage Promotion Help

Post by Lucky Larry »

SweetC and I are taking our first Beau Rivage promotion to be flown on a chartered airline from Texas to Biloxi. for two nights and 3 days. Arrive around 9:30 Friday night and leave Sunday pm.

What should we look forward to? Any VP games we should look forward to playing or look out for? We have the Vpfree2 report. To continue to earn these offers should we play regular slots and VP to gain more points.?

Should meals, etc, be charged to the room to be comped.?

Any advice we would appreciate.

LL and Sweet C.

Good deal!  Play what you normally play. I believe it's one comp point for $5. on slots and one point for every $10. on VP coin in.

Charge everything: meals, gift shop etc. The only thing they won't comp are tips.

Be sure to touch base with the casino host and thank them for the trip, as you know a little kindness goes a long way!

Have a great trip

Check the paytables very carefully before you play. That casino has some of the worst paytables on the coast. Other than that, it is very scenic, very clean, very spacious, excellent food, and the rooms have a great view on the bayside. It is hard to remember almost 6 years later that the first floors were destroyed by Katrina. You will not be far from the Biloxi lighthouse, which is reproduced on Mississippi license plates as a tribute to the spirt of Biloxi after the hurricane. It is unreal how far the coast has come since that terrible 8 hours on August 29, 2005.

Hi Larry, We took that trip last year & really enjoyed it. The pay schedules are bad but that doesn't mean you can't hit. The progessive bank in the back by the poker room is the best. You & sweet C will really enjoy them.

baldie,
Thanks for the advice on charging everything. We learned a long time ago to thank the hosts - the good ones are usually overworked, underpaid, and have to try to satisfy everyone that contacts them.

We haven't been assigned a host yet. Does anyone have one they recommend that we try to contact?

rascal,
Thanks for the response. I've already checked VPfree and compiled a printout of the best play VP at BR and the other places we'll probably play.

Thanks butchp,
It looks like BR has two 25¢ Progressives -DDB and DB. Are there any other recommendations?

We'll try to catch you on a trip to Isle sometime. June is "iffy" as our new grandson should be arriving in June.

I just got back from a 24-hour getaway to Thunder Valley Casino near Sacramento, California. I was playing STP and at 5x got the royal--dealt 4 and a flush to boot, but went for it and was rewarded. Hubby got the royal on a triple play, so it was a great trip. The rooms there are lovely and the casino friendly and lots and lots of STP and ultimatex
