Hits and Losses

Post by Lucky Larry »

Last trip to Lake Charles prior to being on 24/7 call for a new family addition. Neither one of us hit a thing Sunday.   So we planned to play just a $100 each before leaving Monday. First, I caught 4 deuces on 25¢, then the following two hits which gave us money to play/stay Monday night.

Playing on daughter's card since we didn't want to hurt our "average daily play".

Larry, I do believe you are LVA's MoneyLa of this forum. You are both in casinos all the time (he's either in a place called Rincon or at caesar's in Las Vegas ), you both always are hitting all these winners (only he never posts pictures of them), and both of you can't seem to win for losing. But the pictures are fun and keep it up!

backsider,
Being retired and only working part-time for "G and travel money" we usually drive over weekly and stay overnight. As I pointed out last week combined Sweet C and I were 0-3 over the past three trips and now 0-4. Be nice if we were both winning at the same time. Hopefully, our self- imposed break for new grandchild will help us break the cold spell.

It not unusual for us to each play 8 hours a day or 12-14 hours on an overnight trip. Sweet C can easily play around 300 hands/hour on single play. I usually play 3/5 play which is slower but also leads to lots of hands. Both of these factors increase the probability of hits.

But, more importantly we've been really lucky especially having been dealt RF 2x already this year on multi-hands, several AWAKs and Aces on super aces.

Are you sure about those nunbers?

On single line play, 300 hands per hour would be , for me, agonizingly slow.  And slower still on 3/5 play would be even worse.  At present, I play 5 line almost exclusively, at between 675 and 725 dealt  hands per hour.

Sweet C might be higher (haven't counted) since her concentration is better than mine. At times I purposely slow my play if I'm not hitting the RNG for a win and part of it is the speed of the "old machines we play" even at fastest speed setting.
