Decided to play only a $100 today before our trip back. My timing was lousy as I couldn't hit the wanted quad or the big hand. So, being down to my last $20 I decided to kill the last few $ moving from 3/5 play 25¢ 5 coin to 50¢ 3 play playing a single credit/hand.

You know it had to happen! One..two..three...fourth deuce dealt on DW. After a "profound and maybe profane" word I had to laugh. At least it wasn't a "G" statement.

I know the "rule". Trying to kill time waiting for Sweet C to finish her $. So, I can blame it on my wife! Right?

I've only done that a few times...Usually I just cash out or I'll add just a "little" more to the machine...You know, maybe the next hand will be "the" hand...Off to Vegas on Wed for 5 days...Hope I don't go broke..

Oh no you can't blame your wife.   It's simple - if you were playing DDBP and switch to something else - you get the quad with the kicker.  If you were playing DW and switch  - you can't believe the amount of 2's you'll see.   I know I feel like the machine knows I just switched and is teasing me - of course it isn't, but it does make me mad.   Good luck to all.

Kjohn - I live right down the street from Green Valley Ranch, but prefer the M.  That's my favorite buffet too - was just there yesterday eating my weight in crab legs. If I knew the day and time frame, I could make it a point to bump into you.

Isn't that almost always the case? I can almost predict that I will hit 4 Aces on JOB as soon as I leave DDB or Super Aces.
