Four-Color Suits?
Have any of the manufacturers ever considered making VP machines using blue for diamonds and green for clubs?I was dealt Td Jh Kh Ah Qh on a 10-line machine the other day and about fell off my chair. No satisfaction on the draw, unfortunately.

I agree that 4 colors would be better. A few years WMS had either blue or purple tinges to their black cards to differentiate suits and either pick or orange tinges to their red cards. They are redesigning their video poker product --- and 4-color suits are at least one of the options on the drawing board. I've suggested to IGT and videopoker.com people (as well as other manufacturers) that a 4-color option would be well-received by many players. So far nobody has actually implemented it. But I keep suggesting, and someday probably somebody will. Bob

WinPoker has an option that makes the clubs green and the diamonds blue. Of course, that is of limited help (and might even be a hindrance) if you see different things while practicing than you do while playing in a casino. Do any other of the training software packages offer that option?

I haven't checked to see if VP for Winners has that or not. If it does, I do not think that I would use that option as I like to practice as if I am playing in the casino. I used to select that for online poker, but not anymore. It totally killed my live game, especially if I was at the end of the table and could not see the cards all that well - led to a few embarrassing errors. CM
