Cold Streak, Bad Mojo, Funk, etc..
HELP!!! What have you done to reverse a losing streak??I know VP is a bumpy ride with lots of ups and downs but I am having one of those prolonged losing sessions. Switching machines, games, casinos, nothing is helping. I sit down at a machine and the person next to me hits.Going to Vegas in mid-July for a week and usually I am so pumped up but right now this black cloud over me has me a little concerned.Any home remedies, tonics, voodoo chants are appreciated!!

Maybe the sharpies can chime in because they never lose, or at least they dont talk about it. My advice would be to only play positive games or make them up with club benefits, then you cant possibly lose. Just tell us you won next time, year after year.
See how easy it is?

HELP!!! What have you done to reverse a losing streak??[/quote]Keep playing. There are three things that matter in video poker:1. The paytable2. What cards you hold each hand3. Club/PromotionsI'm in a short term loser myself right now. no royals, no sets of deuces. I'm down about a 25c royal from my peak bankroll. Am I worried? No. It's variance. It happens. It's inevitable. What game do you play? What paytable? Is your EV better than 100% every time you play?If so, it'll pass. If not, what did you expect?

I had a losing streak earlier this year where I lost 8 out of 9 casino visits. However, I followed that with a streak of 7 wins in the next 9 trips.
This is just normal variance. If there were no streaks the games would not be random.

This is why, Tony, I only play in casinos where I am comped, and I have status. Sure, I like to win in the casino too, like my last trip to Biloxi, but I have had casino loss trips too. But I am comped for the flights, limos, golf, rooms. food and drinks no matter what happens in the casino on any given trip. I just work to limit my casino losses to something that I can manage, and enjoy the rest. That's the way I like it..
