100th Royal Flush

Post by Lucky Larry »

Sweet C and I began playing VP in November 2005 and hit my first 25¢ RF on third trip November 18, 2005. According to our records, since then Sweet C and I have combined for 100 RF 25¢ or greater. She holds the lead 59 to 41 and we have each had 10 dealt Royals (5 each). Hope the next 100 will be as much fun.

The first 100 have been a blast and seem to come in streaks. We both understand its mainly about timing. Sweet C holds the record for biggest accidentally hitting max play on a $1/$2 machine and catching a royal. She also caught two in one night playing at two different casinos. For me being dealt a five hand RF last New Year's Day, another dealt royal 24 days later on 25 hand 5¢ and a third on 20 hands in June was incredible. A family highlight includes having our daughters with us one night when Sweet C hit a royal followed almost immediately by AWAK. The girls were really razing me about mom's hits until I caught a royal followed by AWAK on the same bank of machines less than an hour later.

Best of luck to everyone. We hope you have us much luck and enjoyment as we do playing VP.

LL and Sweet C

I've kept records since we started and for the last couple of years usually keep a picture of our biggest hits on our phones and on the computer.   When our VP timing is off we relive the great hits. Kinda like reviewing our travel pictures. When dementia sets in maybe they will bring back some of the memories.

Way to go Lucky Larry and Sweet C!!  I LOVE reading your stories and seeing the evidence in posted pics.  You two certainly have the touch...CONGRATS and keep up the great hits.

I have been playing video poker for many years also, but I think I have only gotten maybe 5 or 6 Royals...

Jack,
Probably a reflection of playing so much VP. Although I'll take "LUCK" any day.

Started playing in 2005????  WOW, you really ARE lucky. I've been playing video poker since the machines first came out in 1978 or 1979 and I think I've hit 10 royal flushes in casinos.
