Triple play video poker odds
My daughter was dealt 4 aces and a two (2) playing five level Video Poke , Triple Double at a bar in one of the bigger Las Vegas hotels last month. I’ve been trying to calculate the odds and I’m not sure I’m right. I realize the extra levels and the amount bet doesn’t add into the calculation. I keep coming up with 812,175:1. I know I’ve played that many hands the past fifteen years and have never been dealt that one. Any math professors out there?

If what you meant is 4 aces with any kicker (2-4) then there are 12 ways to get this dealt. The four aces with each of the possible kickers. Divide 12 into the total number of possible dealt hands, 2598960, gives you 1 in 216,580. If you specifically meant a deuce then divide by 4 instead.
