The following is not about a big win at VP. It's kind of a Slots To The Rescue story.
Last year the wife and I were going to Trump marina for a couple of nights. The bright idea came up of making it a three day trip by going to the AC Hilton the first night. The Hilton used to be good to us but, this time the machines were terrible and before disipline kicked in we had spent both first and second day bankroll.
The next morning we went the Marina with high hopes of recouping.. The VP machines there were uglier(if it could be possible) than the ones at the Hilton.
So, here we are 10 o'clock at night. Wife's got $100 left I'm penniless(Bankroll). Nothing left to play with for the following day and thinking this is going to be embarrassing to tell the Slot Host we have to cancel the next night.
We mutually decide to take the last $100 and put in a 2 coin $1 Double Diamond single line slot machine. Bear with me: there are now 2 credits left on the machine. We look at each other and say , looks like we going home in the morning.
She hits the button and one Double Diamond hits the line , then the second, wonders of wonders the third hits. $1600 and we get to stay and fight another day.
Not the biggest we have ever hit money wise, but we call it our biggest.

That is one of my fears about staying in a casino-bankroll goes bye-bye and lots of time left on the trip. That's a sweet hit with the last credits in the machine. Nice.

That had to feel great, but even had you not hit the jackpot and ended up losing all you had, there was still hope. I would have suggested that you hung out around some of the high roller games in search of the Robert Redford type of guy. Just one night for a million dollars.
