March Biloxi Trip Two
Just returned from my 2nd March trip to Biloxi. As I feared, all of my good fortune from the previous trip vanished. Not a single handpay for me the entire trip. NO PICS.. Fortunately, the wifey joined me on this trip, and had a modest amount of luck, but overall, the gaming portion was a loser. I did come home with some casino prizes, including an IPod and a Blu-Ray CD player.
On the golf side, which is why I went anyway , I had a terrific time, in spite of some cold, rainy weather. The Champions Tour event was wonderful, and I was able to play in two Pro-Ams that week. Wifey and I were also made Honorary Observers on the final day of the tournament, which was also my birthday. We walked inside the ropes with the group of Mark O'Meara, Jay Don Blake and David Eger. That was a real treat.
Wifey and I decided to take one day, and go over to New Orleans. We paid a visit to Cafe DuMonde for some fresh, hot beignets and chickory coffee. We then went over to Harrahs New Orleans. The good news is that they have expanded their VP selections and number of machines, including some new games like Winning Streak. The bad news was that we both were shut out in the casino.
Looks like my next trip will be back to Biloxi for a golf event over the weekend of The Masters. I hope that the weather warms up.

billyjoe,
Sounds like a wonderful trip in spite of the gambling shut down. The golf experience was a great opportunity. Why else would you go to NO?
