ONE OF MY WORST LOSING STREAKS EVER
It's been very ugly lately. I play only games that pay 99.5% and above, multi-hand and usually 10-play games. With cash back at the casinos I frequent, I should be getting about 99.95% return average. I play about 500 hands x 10 per hour, or 5000 total hands---putting about 25,000 units through the machines per hour. I should be losing at the rate of one-half of one tenth percent. During my last 5-6 trips, I've actually been losing at 5 to 10 times that rate, which has been very expensive and depressing.
I am not suggesting the machines are fixed, like some of you posting. The reality has simply sunk in that we play VP for hours upon hours, always hoping for that extremely unlikely jackpot. On multi-play especially, we need to be dealt an appropriate supply of big hands (four-of-a-kinds). If you don't get them, you're dead. I've come to the point, that I'm getting tired of always chasing the improbable and elusive hands. I'm tired of the endless boring, pathetic non-paying hands. The Benjamins disappear quickly and the wallet gets empty. The trips have become far less frequent and I have much less interest in going. I have found other ways to kill the time. Anyone else feel this way? Misery loves company.

Colton -We've all been there. From late March until last Sunday I went on about a $5000 slide. And I only play overall positive games. I had some time to kill up north last Sunday so I hit up $1 NSU at Santa Fe Station. Basically an even game but if I want to keep my Red Rock buffet line pass I have to hustle. Caught a natural RF. Then on Friday I saw that Suncoast was doing a pretty rare 8X points so I went over to their $1 BP Deluxe and, yup, caught another royal. (I was dealt 4 Aces during this session. Why couldn't I have gotten that for $2000 on Super Aces Bonus at Rampart?)VP can be feast or famine. Nobody knows when it'll be good or when it'll be bad.Remember that the theoretical return of a game is over millions of hands.

I was very fortunate early Sunday morning at Green Valley Ranch. I initially started with 100 bucks. I hit back to back 4OAK on dollar DDB. I moved and shortly hit a royal on dollar DDB. I walked out of there with 2 hand pays. 4k and 1600. It has been awful before that.

Colton,
If you play VP long enough you'll have those long losing streaks and hopefully a "long run" of wins.

Glad to hear some of you have followed up long losing streaks with spectacular trips---I hope to join that group on my next trip. During my losing streak, I was a few feet away from a lady playing single line $10 VP DDB at Agua Caliente in Rancho Mirage. She held two cards and connected with a $40,000 Royal. No more than 5 minutes after getting paid for her royal, the lights went off again---I assumed a 4OAK, but no, this time she had been dealt a Royal for another $40,000. WOW!

This didn't happen to be the ex-mayor of San Diego, was it? It just sounds like how she plays.
