Video Poker Miracle
On Monday I was leaving the Mirage where I had a fabulous time but an awful trip. I was down a bunch when on triple play $2 I was dealt the A-Q-J-10 of hearts. Before you get excited, this was the 7th time during this trip I had been deal 4 to the royal. Once on single play, twice on three play, and three times on five play. Talk about disappointment. My ride to the airport was leaving in 45 minutes. While on my prior 4-to-the-royal draws I had been hopeful now I was resigned to whatever happened. On the first line I received the queen of clubs. A pair. On the second line . . . magic, the King of Hearts. God it was so beautiful. That $8,000 hit almost offset my losses from the entire trip. I was elated. But when the King of Hearts also appeared on the top line - giving me two royals out of a three play draw, I literally screamed with excitement. Players from as far away as the table games came sauntering over to see what had happened. It was brilliant. Surely something that may never happen again in my lifetime, but no doubt thrilling. Brian S.

Congratulations on the nice hit. I've never done that myself on three-line, and the only time I've seen it done was the VERY FIRST TIME I played three-line, years ago. Woman sitting next to me did it.

Congrats! You gotta love comebacks like this one.
A friend of mine has gambled for many years. Although primarily a table player he's dabbled in VP. On a recent trip to LV he hit his very first RF ... it was dealt to him. The very next day he was playing triple play and also hit two out of three lines. I've never done it. We never have to worry about making up stories in the VP world, the truth is often stranger.

That's a nice run, but I hope you told your friend not to let it go to his head!

Here is one for you Mike.
Casino Windsor, playing JW Kings or better. Three line .25. Each line had it's own progressive for a Royal. I hit the button and got dealth the Royal.
Took the slot Attendant a few minutes to figure out they were all mine.
$5,500.00 and change. Haven't done it since.
Maybe there is a quota?

Ok WM & SM! I seen these references to fish in your posts. Are they a PJ(Private Joke) or are they indicating that VP enthusists are just like Guppies, they will bite on anything?
