And back again...
Returned for Harrah's 50K slot tournament. Sometimes I wonder why I put myself through it. Standing there banging on the spin button hoping something will happen. Tried to chat up the woman next to me but she was to busy mumbling to herself. Sometimes folks are just downright strange. Anyway, had a few nice hits for a one nighter. Enjoy.

Harrah's and Borgata in AC are THE ONLY casinos in AC right now where you have any kind of a chance playing Video Poker. It should be no surprise that they run Number 1 and 2 in AC, BY FAR....I mean they completely annihilate the rest of the tfield, and because of this, they can set their VP Machines (aka "slot machines" in AC) to essentially pay exactly what the paytables advertise.
All other AC casinos, for the current summer period, have set their VP machines to pay in the lowest ranges allowed by New Jersey Law (83% is rock bottom for AC, per "paul" at the gaming commission office on Tennessee Avenue)
I will post more about this later, as I am still stuck here in AC with family, but I had given it a "rest" for nearly six weeks before returning here last week (July 17), but I have finnally determined what is going on in AC with VP and why it is so out of whack compared to Nevada Markets and apparently some other states who have much more "sane" gaming regs and practices.
Suffice it to say folks, once I blow through all comps and free crapola here in AC, I will never ever be back here to play VP again. It just doesnt make any sense anymore.
Stay tuned.....
