doubling up after a win

I hit the double up button by mistake after hitting aces on one game of triple play $1. I won the double up and took my winnings on the D bonus game. This got me to wonder when is it a signable hit, after the original win or when the double up occurs. Also, does what you risk on the double up count for your points play in the casino rewards program?---CWA---

A W2G will be issued on any win totaling $1200 or more. This includes a double up on a $600 win. I know, it's stupid but that's how it's usually done.
 


You get no additional player's club points for doubling in any casino I've played.
