Foxwoods=Free slot play and gifts

Well just got my Foxwoods packet like get each month in the mail and new executive has changed the way give out slot play,He says they are trying to give more out. I don't like change(lol) I used to get $15 a week free slot play plus what ever bonus they wanted to give me, now $15free slot play only good on Monday not 7days a week like before, now have give them credit what they have done is all Tuesday in Sept. I get $25 Restaurant coupon, And all Wednesdays 15 points add to my Reward card that's like me putting $5100 threw VP machine. Now on two Thursdays only giving me $15free slot play oh yes the have also giving me $25 gas card on one Thursday in Sept. On all Fridays in Sept. they have given me $20 free slot play. Now they also giving free $25 macy card if come in on that day,if come in some Sat Sept. they give $30 slot play,plus chances(if I earn11points on my reward card) to get up to $50 free slot play. I still get two free rooms a week,and kitchen gagets,(lol) And also to play in free slot tournaments to win $1000 top prize. So yes he have has increased free slot play,food coupons,gas cards.ect.ect. down fall on certain days only. Has any body else from Foxwoods had changes on there bonus stuff? Sam

Yes got the same exact things that you got. Not even close to what AC offers, wish I lived closer to AC, but only 20 min from Mohegan and 30 min. from Foxwoods.

not even close to what AC offers?i was in AC last week and played about 2 hours in ballys,quarter triple poker,and earned $5 cash back.spent about 30 minutes at caesars,single line poker and penny slots;$5 cashback.2 nights at harrahs,played lots of poker and slots and earned $29 cashback.maybe i should go to foxwoods and mohegan!

The format that Sam describes for Foxwoods promotions could be a twin brother to what Mohegan offers. However, Mohegan has big changes coming Oct 1. I posted about some of the coming changes a week or so ago. My current play at Foxwoods is so small that they are only offering me a one time free play of 5 dollars for Sept. That may change depending on what happens at Mohegan after Oct 1.

Foxwoods : I just got mine too and its similar to yours. Still have the hotel rooms....IN the middle of the week which does me no good as I work full time and cant use them. Offers of 30.00 extra slot play again, in the middle of the week. Sounds like they are trying as usual to increase the mid week attendance and arent giving out weekend perks. Ive played at Foxwoods since it opened and speaking to new players, the perks are much beter. Their loyalty to old players stinks.  Have played at Mohegan's but I just dont like the chaotic atmosphere there. Every now and then I get so torked at Foxwoods I do go to the Mohegans....still chaotic and that usually pushes me back to Foxwoods.  I would think that the competition of the pending casinos in Mass is going to hurt both Ct casinos and maybe....just maybe...they will work at keeping their loyal players from going to Mass.....

angelicwisp:   I feel for your dilemma regarding mid-week benefits.  I suggest a couple different routes for you to take........First, talk to a host during your next trip to Foxwoods, and explain your dilemma.   Ask if instead of all this midweek benefits you might instead receive something (albeit MUCH smaller) to use during the weekends when you CAN visit and use them.  Ask only for something like free slot play or free food, something they are likely to give since you are asking for much less than what they offer you during the midweek, and you are not asking for one of their precious rooms on a weekend......do you see the strategy here?   By keeping your request  small you increase the chance of getting something on a weekend (when you currenty get NOTHING on a weekend) and they are more likely to grant it because it is modest and since you are likely to actually show up and use it.....when you are talking to the host, make a veiled threat that you are considering going to Mohegan but you'd prefer to STAY with foxwoods if they can just make it a little more worth your while, but do this with a smile and a nice tone of voice! The second thing you could do angelicwisp is a little more dicey but is done by so many so frequently it's almost considered normal these days......and that is to offer your midweek benefits to someone else, either for a reduced rate, or as a gift, or something where you dont end up getting NOTHING.   Do you have any family or friends who could make use of your midweek benefits?   I'll leave it to you to figure out the tactical details to make this work, but suffice it to say, if your host is not willing to work with you even a LITTLE, then you owe foxwoods NOTHING.

Hello olds442jetaway,well hope the changes are in your favor! Angelicwisp.Hi I think been going to Foxwoods late 90s might gone few time way back but cant remember, I think have couple silver madalions won out slot machine not sure if they have dates on them? From NH like 164miles one way and we drive down and play and come back same day 320plus miles, like you, me and my wife like Foxwoods better uptill 5years ago used to go to Fowoods&Mohegan but it is another 20miles and we both like Foxwoods atmosphere better. Olds442jetaway plays there a lot and I agree with him paytables on VP are better than Foxwoods. Daburglars right you can ask Foxwoods to try change,and give to you when you really use it. My thought process is that they are trying to get more people in there when they have the least amount of people and this there way trying to get you to come, when you normally don't come?YES/NO? Angelicwisp I agree with you and hope that is true when the casinos open in Mass. maybe they will give us more? Sam
